Yes. A $150 consultation fee is required at the time of booking your appointment. 100% of this fee will be applied toward your total surgical cost if you decide to move forward within a year.
Yes, we do. Dr. Widmyer provides virtual consults to anyone in the US (Florida residents included). However, if you are local to the area, we ask that you schedule an in-person consultation.
To access your virtual consult, download the "APPatient" app in your app store or visit lwps.ema.md on desktop. A link will be provided to access your patient portal during scheduling.
Yes, we do collect 20% of the surgery cost to hold your surgery date. It is refundable if you cancel no less than 4 weeks before scheduled surgery.
Dr. Widmyer must meet and access your areas of concern to determine if your procedure meets the qualifications to be run through insurance. Please note, it is the patients responsibility to contact their insurance company prior to their consultation to make sure that the procedure requested is covered.
The patient is responsible for any deductibles, co-pays and out of pocket costs that insurance will not cover for surgery. If you do not meet the medical criteria for insurance, you will be provided a cosmetic quote.

Due to Dr. Widmyer's limited availability and ongoing waitlist, we ask that you cancel no later than 2 weeks before your scheduled consultation and 4 weeks before your scheduled surgery date. Failure to provide proper notice will result in a 40% deduction from your consultation or surgery deposit fees.
We understand that life happens and certain things are out of our control. If you feel sick, we ask that you reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hour notice. Please note, Dr. Widmyer's schedule is booked months in advance. We will happily reschedule your consultation, however, there will be a timely wait before the next available appointment.
Recognizing that everyone’s time is valuable and the appointment time is limited, we ask that you notify the office of late arrival. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will have to reschedule your appointment.
